Upcoming Meetings
April 10:
In-person showing of "Jewelry- PBS - Craft in America," with discussion to follow. This episode, which was first broadcast in 2021, explores the history, artistry and impact of personal adornment. While it focuses on several specific artists and their work, the concepts and presentation apply to many kinds of craftwork.
"Our mission is to document and advance original handcrafted work through programs in all media, accessible to all. We are dedicated to the exploration, preservation and celebration of craft, the work of the hand, and their impact on our nation’s cultural heritage." Craft In America
May 8:
Join us for a "Make and Take" on printmaking with Bucks member Annette Debevec.
The Bucks County Guild of Craftsmen works to stimulate interest in
fine crafts and appreciation of the work of craftsmen.
The Guild upholds and maintains standards of excellence in
design and workmanship, assists members in marketing high quality crafts
and provides a forum for exchange of ideas and information
through its meetings and programs.
We welcome anyone interested in fine crafts, whether an artist,
collector or appreciator, to attend our meetings, which are held the
second Wednesday of the month, September through June.
Meetings are held at 7:00 pm at the Boy Scout Headquarters Building,
1 Scout Way, Doylestown, PA or via Zoom.
Members will be emailed a Zoom link for meetings as needed.
Guests are always welcome.
